Superintendent's Message
Dear Parents and Community Members,
Here in Lanier County ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community is paramount. We are grateful for the ongoing support and collaboration of community members, local law enforcement, emergency responders, healthcare professionals, and other agencies dedicated to safeguarding our schools. Together, we proactively plan, train, and communicate to ensure that our safety measures and protocols are effective and responsive.
As your superintendent, I am proud to emphasize our commitment to creating a secure learning environment while providing diverse opportunities for our students to excel in fine arts, Move On When Ready (MOWR), athletics, clubs, work-based learning, and Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education(CTAE). This commitment is only strengthened through collaboration with community and partnering agencies.
We are committed to providing a rich and diverse educational experiences for our students. Our Move On When Ready program empowers students to take control of their education by earning college credits while still in high school, preparing them for success in higher education and beyond. Additionally, our athletics programs instill values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, while our clubs provide spaces for students to pursue their passions and interests outside the classroom.
Through work-based learning initiatives and CTAE pathways, we prepare students for the workforce by providing hands-on experiences, industry certifications, and opportunities for career exploration and development.
As we navigate challenges and uncertainties, our commitment to the safety and well-being of our school community remains steadfast. Together with our continue to prioritize safety while providing diverse opportunities for our students to thrive academically, artistically, athletically, and professionally. Lanier County Schools is critical to the quality of our community and the quality of the community is critical to Lanier County Schools.
